Does anyone have tips for dealing with stress eating?

My usual diet isn't great, but my biggest problem is that I can't stop eating when I'm stressed, and I tend to choose unhealthy foods, like binge eating ice cream. I've been trying to improve my regular diet, but it's difficult because I'm on a tight budget and not very motivated. However, it's the stress eating, which happens almost every day, that really hinders my weight loss and sometimes even causes weight gain. I'm already quite obese, with a height of 170cm and weight fluctuating between 150 and 120 kilos. I just want to lose weight, but I'm so addicted to food.
