I'm a 47-year-old guy using TRT at 200MG per week, weighing around 175 pounds with about 13% body fat.
I began a cycle with 400mg of Test, 400mg of primo, and 30mg of dbol taken twice daily. The first week was rough - primo caused a big lump, made my glute really hot (104 degrees), and super sore. Sleeping on that side was impossible. I stopped primo after two weeks, thinking I was getting sick, but kept up with dbol and Test.
Though I got stronger, I didn't gain much weight. Only added 8 pounds over five weeks.
I reintroduced primo at week 5 and had the same problems: feeling flu-like and a high temp (103-104 degrees) at the injection site - really tough.
Why does primo cause these issues? And why might dbol not be adding more weight? Gaining just 8 pounds feels minimal to me.
