To be specific, It all depends on ur body if u gain weight easily just do a lean bulk if u don't do a higher surplus. Do cardio 2-3 times a week as u feel like it.

Personally, I would do a lean bulk Instaed of wasting time on an excess of fat and having to cut down to get the desired look especially if you’re wanting to compete. Additionally, doing a lean bulk means your going to put on muscle more densely you won’t end up having a ton of fat.

The more body mass you have the more mass you can lift, so in terms of gaining strength it makes sense and this is why you find weighlifter to be bulky but also a little on the fat side but that doesnt matter because their aim is to push more overall weight over their squat, bench or whatever.

What’s the difference between bulk and lean bulk? You only need to be at surplus. This goes for natty or enhanced. Anything more than this just means you’ll have to spend more time cutting down and likely dipping into muscle when you do.

In my view I would always go a lean bulk, which is effective as a dirty bulk and even better; you can gain a certain mount of lean mass, the remaining is just fat , wgich i consider useless for your aim ; iv always use thata and is easier to jump on cut when it's time; the best option for natty.

That totally depends on approach ,Your approach should be tailored to your body; if you tend to gain weight readily, go for a lean bulk, whereas if weight gain is not as easy for you, consider a higher calories surplus.
