I need help getting enough protein every day. I should have about 60g, but I usually only get 20g. What are some foods high in protein? Do you have any tasty dishes I can try to increase my daily protein intake?
Consider having a protein shake, preferably whey-based. If you prefer a vegan option, there are choices available. With only 20g of protein a day, you must be very thin, small, or dealing with another issue. This amount is too low to even maintain basic muscle protein synthesis.
I prepare a lamb ragu-style dish without pasta. I use 1kg of grass-fed lamb mince, tinned tomatoes, plenty of vegetables, and spinach. I also add a mix of 4 types of beans. I top it with cheese. It's a high-protein meal.
