Has your appetite decreased?

It's only been a week of eating at a deficit and making healthier choices. Today, I ordered my usual noodles and a shake. I ordered two bowls of noodles and one shake, which used to make me feel full but not overly full. However, I felt full enough after one bowl and a shake. I ate the second bowl anyway, and now I have a bad stomachache because I overate, lol. I'm only going to order one bowl now. It's a win though; portion control occurring naturally is a good thing. Just hoping my stomachache goes away soon.

My appetite decreased so much that half the time, it’s a struggle to reach my bare minimum caloric intake to prevent organ failure, lol. I had to scale back my super efficient high-protein, satiating meals and incorporate more enjoyable foods like chips, pasta, Naked juice, chocolate, or snacks that students/staff bring to share at work (I work at a school). But I don’t worry about it because then, when there’s a special occasion like a friend’s birthday or someone staying with us from out of town, I get to worry a bit less about the spontaneous treats and whatnot.

My appetite has decreased too! But I still aim to hit my daily calorie deficit and avoid undereating, or else I feel exhausted and lethargic the next day.

My appetite stays the same, but it could be due to my history of BED 😅 I can eat at maintenance, usually without issue, but when there's a party or things like cake and pizza, I'm getting down and dirty 🤤

I think it depends on what you mean by decreased. I can still physically eat the same amount of food as before; I'm just more aware of how what I eat makes me feel and when I should stop. I still want to eat the entire pizza, but I know that I'm "full" after a few slices, and that's where I should stop.

Yes, I went from struggling to stay under 1500 calories to purposely drinking calories because I’d be full at 1000-1200 and want to be able to decrease calories when I plateau.

Yes, once in a while, I can still eat a lot, but I usually get full from significantly less than what was normal for me. I lost 1/3 of my body weight, plus staying away from junk and empty carbs keeps my appetite way down. Every single time I have ice cream at night, for example, I wake up with my stomach growling when I usually don't eat until 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, and I'm usually fine.
