How much cardio is too much? For those aiming to add size while staying lean, how much cardio do you do? I'm trying to get leaner for summer but I don't want to lose size or muscle. I enjoy cardio, so I'm curious about your thoughts!

There's no such thing as too much cardio. After my morning full-body workouts, I do a 35-minute, 400-calorie bike ride, then rest for 6 hours while aiming for 25,000 steps a day. In the evenings, I do my rowing workout. My body still recovers well, and I recently front squatted 140kg for 5 reps with 3-second pauses (I used to do Olympic lifting). Just gradually increase your volume and cardio tolerance, and you'll see great benefits. Plus, since we're using gear, our bodies can handle more than others. Take advantage of that and avoid 19nors.

I agree with Dr. Mike Israetel's advice to aim for at least 12,000 steps per day. If you're using gear, adding some "Zone 2" (low-intensity) cardio could be beneficial, up to 4-5 hours per week. For example, walking on the stair master for an hour at a time could be a good option.

It depends on how active you are at work or outside the gym (with family, kids, etc.). Try 20-30 minutes before you think: Wait a minute, am I eating too much?

I've begun doing LISS cardio 3-4 times a week, along with all the walking I already do. I'm mainly doing it to help keep my blood pressure in check. I realized I was quite out of shape, so adding it in has been really beneficial.
