Is it true corn is technically calorie free?

Hi, I read somewhere that since our bodies can't fully digest corn (we eat corn, we see corn in our poop), it might not actually provide any calories. This was on a weird website trying to get me to sign up for their newsletter about bears fighting. But it made me wonder, is there some truth to this? As far as I know, we can only digest a part of corn. So, when a can says it has a certain number of calories, is that number not accurate because we don't digest all of it?

You don’t digest the outer skin of corn, but you do digest the inner parts. So, no, corn is not calorie-free. It's probably best to avoid wasting time on unreliable websites."

The reason corn looks undigested in our poop is because the outer skin is filled with feces, making it appear full and inflated.
