I'm using Tirz for indigestion and heartburn. I took a Zantac-like medication, and now it feels like everything, from food to water, just stays in my stomach. Is the Zantac making the digestion slowdown caused by Tirz worse? Thanks.

Check this out: I dealt with a stomach ulcer for eight years. It just wouldn't go away. I used Zantac for a long time and then switched to Nexium after Zantac got banned. Both of those made me feel sick if I ate a big meal and went to sleep within a few hours. I could eat lunch and feel full until bedtime. That changed when I started working on increasing the acid in my stomach using things like apple cider vinegar and prebiotics from drinks like Olipop. I discovered that cayenne pepper is an excellent antacid, so I started adding it to my food. Now, I don't have to take PPIs or heartburn meds. Some people believe that heartburn is linked to low acid, but stomach ulcers need the right conditions to heal, not too much acid. Cayenne worked just as well for me. *This isn't medical advice, do your research.
