Is cardio necessary for a regular beach body or is it mainly crucial for contest prep?

I think the specifics don't really matter much, and getting a direct answer might be tricky. The main focus during cutting should remain consistent with your training to preserve muscle. Cardio serves as a way to increase the number of calories you burn. There isn't a clear-cut answer here either. For good health and better insulin sensitivity, doing a bit of cardio regularly is important, and as you hit tougher stages in your weight loss journey, increasing cardio might be necessary.

Cardio is primarily for cardiovascular health, with calorie burning as a secondary benefit. Do you believe a 90-minute typical LISS session burns a significant amount of calories? It contributes, but it's not necessary for PED (Performance Enhancing Drug) users who have more effective methods to increase calorie expenditure.
